A couple questions for anyone to answer about rollers.
I have recently been trying to develop a roller to add distance to my game. I started by throwing a 169g roadrunner, when I try to throw it I need to throw it about 50 feet for it to roll straight, if I try to throw it any further it will start to flatten out and roll in a tight circle instead of straight. I now started to try and roll my 135g blizzard wraith, I am able to get about 150-200 feet before it hits the ground and starts rolling, however, instead of rolling straight it started to roll to the right and then flips on its back and slides. I am curious if anyone knows anything I can do to fix either of these problems.
I am thinking about getting a STARlite roadrunner, about 150g, so that I will be able to get more anny, and therefore more distance before it starts rolling. However, I haven't been able to find any STARlite roadrunners, are they starting/have already discontinued the disc?
Any help would be well appreciated.
Thanks, Matthew Bueckers

I am no expert on rolling, but I have gotten much better this year. I can tell you, rolling has a lot to do with the angle the disc lands. This changes depending on if you throw sky rollers or quick rollers or whatever your preference is. How understable the disc is also affects the angle at which the disc needs to land. I'm sure Ken could help you out too, but my opinion is that your 169 roadrunner should do the trick for rollers (heavier discs roll better in my opinion). I would just play with the angle that the disc is landing to get your rollers further.
