All winter I've been wearing very comfortable shoe, almost like slippers. My feet have been hurting the last few days. How important is it to wear shoes with more support while playing Disc Golf?

Well there can be many different reasons you're feet might be hurting. Neropathy, flat feet, or just plain wrong support or too tight. I find that spending a little extra on shoes that have good support help go a long way since I have flat feet myself. Try looking into a decent pair of hiking shoes.

If you have room on the top side of your foot, try putting in an insert. The green and yellow ones from foot locker are pretty good. Run about 17 bucks if I remember correctly.
